Born in Houston, Texas, Brandon found a love for all things gaming, music, and technology. Growing up, he had a variety of inspirations, including StarCraft, Diablo 2, Halo, and Banjo Kazooie. Over the years he yearned to play music from these games and joined band, eventually leading to marching band his last two years of high school. He then transferred to UTSA after community college to study Music Composition with a minor in Music Technology in order to be around the realm of audio in the gaming world, possibly even developing games or experiences himself. During his time at UTSA, he took advantage of all the opportunities that were presented to him, just to see everything that he liked or didn't like, which eventually led to being awarded a Presser Scholar award in 2023. He's also done a few academic projects with professors, as well as a study abroad semester in Italy.
Currently, Brandon is primarily focusing on music and sound for videogames, as well as learning about audio programming, but if you believe you may have an interesting project for him, let him know!
Going forward, Brandon plans to dive deeper into electronics, acoustics, and computer science topics related to music technology. He enjoys "dynamic audio" and believes this multidisciplinary approach to audio will help foster some more creativity and boost his technical skills in sound design and composition, as well as creative new opportunities for him in the field of music technology.
